We meet at the SteamPlant in Salida, CO at lower G St. and Sackett Ave. Sunday mornings at 10:00AM. Nursery care is provided for babies to 4 years, and Children's Church to the fifth grade. Wednesday evening Bible studies will be held at the Salida Community Center at 6:00 PM.
What We Are: River Valley Community Fellowship is a gathering of Bible Believers being led by the Holy Spirit and being used by our Lord Jesus Christ to change the lives for His Kingdom here now and in the age to come. "I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God to, present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Romans 12:1
Who We Are: RVCF was begun in February of 2009 by Pastor Bill and Marilyn Swegart. The vision of the Fellowship is to reach out into the Salida community to touch the hearts of the seeking, the broken and the lost.
We have a great leadership team who desires to serve and worship the Lord in an "out of the box" style that will attract all those seeking the Savior. We also desire to disciple and grow the Fellowship so that it wll continue to serve others for Christ.
What We Do: We are Christ followers who want to portray Jesus in a non legalistic, not threatening way. Our hearts are servant oriented and our aim is to be living sacrifices for Christ in our community and around the world. Approximately 30% of our budget is dedicated to Missions both local and global and we are partnered with many local missions to help both physically and monetarily. Each month our men meet to be in the Word. They have breakfast, pray and encourage one another in the Lord. Each week during the school year, our ladies meet for Bible Study and fellowship. Wednesday evenings are a spiritual growth time for our adults as Pastor Bill leads an in-depth class on various topics. On Sunday mornings we are growing a vibrant nursery and children's program. We are growing to meet the spiritual needs of our children in our midst. Many indiviuals are involved in service and outreach in our community.
